J&J Coastal Lending values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information collected from users of our services, including our SMS programs.


Information Collected

We may collect personal information directly from you, such as:

  • Name, email address, and phone number.
  • Information provided when signing up for our SMS programs.
  • Any other information shared with us voluntarily.

We collect information about you in three ways:

  1. When you voluntarily interact with us or our website, including talking to us on the phone, registering information to contact us, inputing loan/refinance preferences signing up for our newsletter, joining our email list, or by submitting a testimonial. This personal information could include: Name, mailing address, phone number, email address, and IP address.
  2. Automatic collection of more general website usage information, including analytics, and cookies that allow us to identify and authenticate visitors, track aggregate behavior, enable important site features, track the efficacy of our website and help us learn more about our visitors’ behavior.
  3. Verbal or Written Agreement: Providing consent during an interaction with our representatives.

Participation in our SMS program is voluntary. By opting in, you provide express written consent to receive text messages from J&J Coastal Lending. This consent is not required to purchase any goods or services.

We use your personal information to:

  • Provide services, including SMS communications you have opted into.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide support.
  • Send marketing communications and promotional offers (with prior consent).

We collect information about you in order to communicate with you through email and/or SMS depending on your (the client) personal preference. We also collect information in order to provide customer service.

You have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you. If you have consented to receive messaging from us, you may opt out at a later date, or by replying “STOP” to any of the SMS messages we send to the number provided. You may also opt-out via email’s “UNSUBSCRIBE” button.

We never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without providing you an opportunity to opt-out or to prohibit such uses.


SMS Messaging Program

By subscribing to our SMS messaging program, you agree to receive recurring automated promotional and/or informational text (e.g., updates, offers, text correspondence) messages from J&J Coastal Lending at the phone number you provide during opt-in. Message frequency will vary depending on personal needs. Message and data rates may apply.

    • Reply “HELP” to any message for assistance.

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by:

  • Replying “STOP” to any of the J&J Coastal Lending messages.
  • Contacting us at support@thinkjandj.com.

Upon opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message, and no further SMS messages will be sent.


Data Sharing and Security

We do not sell, rent, or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties except as required to provide the services (e.g., delivery platforms, carriers). To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. We use the cookies that are placed on your computer to collect standard Internet log information and visitor information, so we can conduct statistical analysis on website activity. You can set your browser to not accept cookies at any time, but some of our website features may not function as a result. We hold onto personal data for the reasonable timeframe that an individual might be considered a potential customer. We will not hold onto your personal data for longer than is necessary.

Our services, including SMS programs, are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. Age verification measures are employed where legally required.


Changes to our Privacy Policy

We may amend this Privacy Policy at any time by posting a revised version on our website. The revised version will be effective as of the published effective date. If there are material changes to our sharing practices, we will provide notice 30 days prior to the effective date which we will post on our website. After the 30-day notice, your continued use of any Service constitutes express acceptance to all changes to the Privacy Policy. This Policy was last updated on January 8, 2025.
